Before filming began, the group learned that the United Nations Development Programme recently made it legal for Palestinian refugees to claim housing in the West Bank. The Palestinians are now required to do so. In an exclusive interview, a representative of the UN said, “We do hope that this film gives Palestinians and their families recognition that they are entitled to their own separate place of shelter or in whatever community we choose. If I can demonstrate for almost anyone there is a community where they can actually live, that could come to light quickly.
